   The clashes between the anti-governmental protesters and the security forces are continuing for fourth week in #Sudan. The unrest began over the skyrocketing prices and the failing economy of the country but since then they have gained massive popular support and the political demands has expanded.

   The regime continues to unleash its repressive campaigns with an attempt to halt the progress of the masses. The security forces are arresting and torturing leaders of the opposition. The Sudanese authorities are talking for more than 800 arrests during the last weeks. Among them, our comrades, members of the CC of the Communist Party of Sudan and the president of the Sudanese Congress.

   The umbrella body that groups all the opposition forces, "ALTANSIEGYIA" is demanding the resignation of the president Omar al-Bashir and the overthrow of the corrupt dictatorial regime.

   WFDY condemns the repression of Sudan's anti-popular regime, which has caused dozens of dead and injured. We express our #solidarity toward the people of Sudan and we stand by their side on their struggle for #democracy, political rights and social #justice
