S. Korea Urged to Give up Policy of Dependence on Outsiders

Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- The present chief executive of south Korea has dispatched his confidants to the U.S. and other big powers and different regions of the world under the signboard of "special envoy diplomacy" to ask for "settlement of the north's nuclear issue".

In this regard, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in a commentary:

Such action is a disgraceful behavior of following in footsteps of the Park Geun Hye group, which suffered insult and cold treatment from the international community after seeking "cooperation in settling the nuclear issue of the north" from outsiders and finally faced the bitter end.

The south Korean authorities should seriously look back upon the Park Geun Hye group's foolish policy of dependence on outsiders and its catastrophic fallout.

The north-south relations were deteriorated and the situation of the Korean peninsula was extremely aggravated, due to such group of sycophantic traitors bereft of dignity and principle who spent their days asking outsiders to hurt the fellow countrymen in the north.

It is nothing good for the destiny of the nation and the inter-Korean relations to prioritize outsiders, not compatriots, and cooperate with them.

The only way for improved north-south relations and peace and reunification is to follow the spirit of By Our Nation Itself and realize national cooperation after giving up the anachronistic policy of dependence on outsiders.

It is a mistake to try to tide over the "diplomatic crisis" due to flunkeyism and submission with the policy of dependence on outside forces.

Now is the time for the south Korean authorities to renounce the habit of dependence on outsiders, the root cause of all disasters.
